WeatherWise (Ehabitation Ltd, trading as EHAB) is a London-based weather risk specialist helping construction, energy, agriculture and logistics businesses understand, plan for and insure against weather risk.

We run WeatherWise Construction (weather-delay analysis and schedule risk) and WeatherWise Studio (an AI-native parametric insurance platform). Our agent, Kite, helps brokers discover relevant weather events, structure and price cover, generate client materials and route submissions to suitable carriers. A weather-data engine drawing on 180,000+ stations and global datasets powers both platforms.

Senior Front-end / Product Engineer (Design-led), reporting to the CTO.

Design and build the interfaces through which brokers, insurers and contractors work with an agentic AI platform. Own the product surface, from first sketch to shipped product: agent conversations, policy-structuring workbenches, insurer appetite dashboards, risk dashboards and microsites.

There is no separate design team. You will take ambiguous workflows, sketch and prototype them, test with users and ship. The central challenge is designing for an agent: explaining what Kite did and why, surfacing uncertainty and making human review, correction and approval clear and effective.

  • Design and build the frontend of both platforms, from information architecture to visual detail.
  • Own the design system, component library and consistency across products, dashboards and microsites.
  • Build interfaces for reviewing, correcting and approving agent output.
  • Make complex weather and financial data clear through maps, time series, dense tables, trigger structures, payout curves and portfolio views.
  • Use AI coding/design tools to prototype and iterate quickly.
  • Run lightweight user research with brokers, carriers and contractors.
  • Work directly with the CEO, CTO and sales team to help set product direction.

Requisitos

Obrigatórios:

  • 6+ years building production web applications, with deep fluency in React or a comparable modern framework and TypeScript.
  • Demonstrable design practice: work where you owned UX, visual design and implementation, and can explain the decisions.
  • Strong data-visualisation skills and judgement about when to use charts, maps and tables.
  • Daily use of AI coding and design tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
  • Experience building interfaces for AI-driven/agentic products, or a credible explanation of how you would approach them.
  • Comfort scoping ambiguous problems and shipping independently in a small senior team.

Desejáveis:

  • MapLibre, Mapbox, deck.gl or time-series visualisation at scale.
  • B2B, fintech or insurtech products where trust, auditability and correctness matter.
  • Building or maintaining design systems.
  • Interest in weather, climate or risk.

We care far more about what you have shipped than which exact tools you used. A portfolio or live work counts for more than a CV.
